SANDUSKY POLICE THURSDAY, DEC. 15 11:13 p.m. - 600 block Gartland Ave., three men walked up to house, one broke through screen door and pounded on front door of house, started yelling at person inside, 87-year-old man opened door, yelling man stopped yelling, it was the wrong house, apologized and ran down street, police caught all three, let two go; Deonta Collins, 24, 1400 block Wamajo Drive, disorderly conduct intoxicated, criminal mischief. That's the trouble with us older people. We still trust way to much. Maybe some day the world will get back to where you can open the door to a stranger, but not in this day and age. Some of the youth of today have no respect for the elderly. Wonder if Collins will have to pay for the repairs to the door. He should have to work for this man for a week, but then again, who would want him around?
