Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE WEDNESDAY, DEC. 15 1:42 p.m. - 1800 block Remington Ave., woman kicked boyfriend out of house, refused to give back his clothes, told officers the time they'd been dating was "the longest three months' of her life, said she did background search on him, found he was a sex offender, wanted him out, man said all he wanted was his clothes, police told man to take her to civil court. For the full daily police blotter from agencies across the area, pick up the Register or check out the e-paper.

What? YOU choose to live with a man for THREE MONTHS, then throw him out and won't give him his clothes? They are his clothes. Give them back and stop being a jerk. The officers are wrong in this instance. They needed to stand by while this man got his clothes back.

She should have done the background check BEFORE she moved him in with her.
