S A N D U S K Y -- A Sandusky police dispatcher has been placed on administrative leave for what supervisors are calling unprofessional behavior during a 911 call.  The unnamed dispatcher reportedly mocked a Sandusky citizen during an emergency call.

The Sandusky State Theatre will be the site of a weekend Christmas film festival, with admission just $1 to see them on the big screen, says the theater's executive director, Thomas Kazmierczak.

The year is coming to an end and I have to say I started out this year at the top of the roller coaster when I was chosen for FIT Challenge and have somehow managed to stay at the top through the end of the year.

The month is going fast leading to the end of this year's FIT Challenge. I still hope to reach my goal of 80 pounds, but it seems like a struggle.

I lose some and gain some weight. I know the goal is attainable, but it will be tough.

P E R K I N S --  What promised to be an uneventful Christmas shopping trip to a Perkins Township toy store turned into a little more than three public officials bargained for.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Sandusky, where merchants have organized a holiday window-decorating contest and are inviting their customers to vote on the best one.
