Running toward my goal

I’m back on the weight-loss track. When I weighed in on June 8, I learned I had gained about 6 pounds from the last time I had stepped on a scale. Yikes!

I am back on track with my workouts with personal trainer Trevor Tieche of Bodi N Balance in Port Clinton.

We did two workouts together, and I did one weight workout and two cardio-based workouts on my own.

On Wednesday, June 17 I was invited to attend a Health Care forum hosted by Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur’s office in Toledo.  The audience consisted of retired physicians, employed nurses, who practice home health care and hospice care, mental health professionals and social service professionals.

Meanwhile, over in Cleveland ....

I'm not sure how many Sandusky Register readers pay attention to what's happening in Cuyahoga County, but there's been a huge scandal in the county government for months, with numerous stories in the Cleveland Plain Dealer about an FBI investigation and obvious waste of taxpayer dollars.

Getting ready for the 5k

Intense, focused, motivating force. My personal trainer Ken Cutcher of Anytime Fitness in Perkins Township is all of those things. I can get pretty whiny and he just blows it off. I love that about him.
