This past week was week No. 44 of the FIT Challenge. It sort of blows my mind to think how quickly this year is passing by.
The start of November is here and we are down to the last two months of the FIT Challenge.
While most of the news coverage on Tuesday's election has naturally concentrated on the candidates and speculation of a Republican comeback, there are many interesting ballot initiatives to be decided tomorrow.

With the direction of this country at stake, this election cycle is important. But on the other hand, I'm happy that it's almost over. The outright lying in political ads is wearing us thin.
This past week was week 43 of the FIT Challenge. As this past week went by, I became more aware of compliments received from others.
They tell me I'm looking good. As I have said in the past, these types of compliments were only heard from my husband before I lost all this weight.
Republican John Kasich and Democrat Ted Strickland aren't agreeing on many issues, but both are on the record opposing drilling in Lake Erie for natural gas.

When the FIT Challenge started in January, I was fired up and ready to go. Now, 10 months later, I'm lucky if I can even concentrate on the diet and exercise.
The month of October is flying by and we are down to the last two months of the FIT Challenge. I am pleased with my progress, but I still have a ways to go to make my goal.
