MAD magazine’s mascot used to a goofy-looking guy named Alfred E. Neuman whose motto was, “What, Me Worry?” As dumb as Mr. Neuman appeared to be, he was on to something there.

While reading the Ottawa County Register, I was surprised to read what one of our ex-mayors and one of our active councilmen thought about the citizens wanting to vote on the biggest issue Port Clinton has had in the 88 years I have lived here.

I worked Thursday afternoon inside a Sandusky icon.

A lot of people would like to see the interior of this downtown Sandusky landmark.

Sandusky city and Erie County officials continue to stave off a civil trial in a lawsuit filed by the city against the county, negotiating through disagreements on pricing and volume of water purchases by the county from the city. 

One reader's comment posted at sanduskyregister.com about the recent influx of children on the border was troubling: “ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT children is more like it.”

The comment is particularly harsh. 

For a movement to gain any traction, it must have support.

As you might expect, those tests were wreaking havoc on the environment and human health.

The weather was a mini-heat wave last week. Even though it's not yet officially summer, we had above 90 degree temps (with very strong winds).

It's a bit early to celebrate NaNoWriMo, but it doesn't hurt to take a look at just how something as simple as storytelling has modernized over time.
 
If one of the main missions of the U.S. Embassy is to represent and advance the interests of the USA, then that begs this question.

Why isn’t there a U.S. Embassy in Ohio?
