Hillary: Loved, despised, admired, feared

Excerpt: No matter what Barack Obama does, he cannot escape the shadow of his former political opponent.

Hillary Clinton, back from her global travels visiting places and peoples hardly heard of on this continent, is stealing the spotlight without even touching the stage.

President Obama visits the Middle East, makes history as he speaks war to Syria and Iran, and peace to Israelis and Palestinians, and the talk back home circles The Big Question: Will Hillary run?

The former first lady, the former senator and now the former secretary of state is everywhere — and nowhere to be seen. Sent away by this president upon his unlikely victory in 2008 against the Clinton machine and the inevitable first woman president, Hillary is back.

Few people — and far fewer women — have attracted so much attention as Hillary Clinton. She carries the unique burden of being something to everyone: Loved, despised, admired, feared, a role model, a terrifying omen, politician, mother, wife, nemesis, scold, muse. She is a conundrum of one.

And she is running for president. Isn’t she?

Like a typical Repooplican, you'd refuse to believe the truth anyway.

Agree or disagree, Obama is willing to say anything to get the Palestinians back to the negotiating table. She supposed to fall on her sword again for what the administration wants? Whether she personally believed or was doing the administrations bidding do you honestly think it really matters? The Palestinians will do what they want whether they are given concessions or not.Give an inch they will take a mile and lie about it. And don't anybody jump on me:-) Israel isn't totally innocent either. That conflict will never end... Unless Iran compleats their enrichment of uranium, unfortunately.

I think we have all seen what the Democrats are all about and while the Republicans aren't much better if at all, at least they are doing something whether it be minimal or not to protect our rights under the Constitution! I would rather see and independent get in IF and that's a BIG IF we are still ALLOWED to vote in 2016! That is also barring Congress doesn't pass the law to repeal not letting the POTUS have unlimited terms because if Obama gets back in it's all over but the crying for sure! But until them good old boys do away with the 2 party system and stop allowing anyone but a party line person run for office then we are all screwed! As for Hilary and people saying she won't run lol. Those of you who THINK that must not be poker players then, because the worst thing you can do is tip your hand too soon and show what you got, because if you do it too soon then you either lose the hand or the pot doesn't get near as big as it could have been! As for the other people saying that the blacks came out in HUGE numbers to vote for Obama, well you are EXACTLY right because that's what did happen! We had WAY TOO MANY ignorant black who voted on SKIN COLOR and NOTHING ELSE! I bet dollars to doughnuts that if you asked 3 out 5 black people in the inner cities who voted for him WHY they did and what some of his policies are etc, other than free cell phones and welfare for everyone, they would look at you like a deer in the headlights! Obama didn't have the numbers other than the minorities on his side because of all his BS about immigration reform and letting people stay, and gay marriage etc. So I for one won't be surprised WHEN she shows up in the mix once again. So if all else if you can't get a good tea party/ independent in the White House next time around then I sure as hell hope it's not a democrat because I for one am tired of fighting for my Constitutional rights among other things that they are trying to take away from us! Not to mention I hope the next president be it someone OTHER than a democrap repeals Obamacare before it totally destroys America any more than it's going to do til is repealed!

EZOB

2008 Hillary against Gay Marriage. Now? I think She is about to come out in the open, no not about Benghazi. How about a Herman Cain & Allen West. More brains and common sense than you'll find with any four Liberals.

The Democratic Congress voted for the Iraq War. News Flash! The weapons used in Syria were possibly smuggled in from Iraq prior to our Iraq invasion. This is being kept real quiet like everything that would make Bush look good. I didn't vote for nor like Bush, but htese people continue to Lie and distort facts and it takes complete insanity to believe anthing they say.

So if I tell a lie and you believe it, it is your fault I lied when things go wrong? How do you smuggle nukes?

shucks

That's their twisted rationale.

Now The Rest of...

Bill Clinton stated the threat of nukes in Irag. You do realize the tactical nukes can be transported in a truck or is that beyond your capacity.

There are pluses and minuses with Hillary. The juvenile shouting match with foreign leaders when she first was Secretary of State was really embarrassing, and she did lie to us about not knowing about her disgusting husband. However, she did take a lamp, that we paid for, and broke it over his head. That almost makes up for the other stuff. The person we vote for next election should be for us, not democrats or republicans. That show has gone on for too long. We should know by now that we are just being played by both parties, they both win at the end of the day. Anyone who takes our concerns first before party will be hammered down by one or both parties, with the media nailing the coffin shut.

The Big Dog's back

Vote for Elizabeth Warren.

Are you saying the next president should be independent ? If you are then all I can say is , if she doesnt run , then yes it would be a blessing to see an independent in office and who knows we , might even get something done
Lord knows we are getting any where with the people we have now .
The only thing that I have seen so far is the debt getting bigger and no sign of a balanced budget anywhere in sight

gene44870

All i CAN SAY IS THAT IF SHE SOULD RUN , SHE WOULD HAVE MY SUPPORT AND MY VOTE
She has earned it and it would be nice to see a women of such grace and wisdom in the white house , but I have have mixed feeling about weather she would run again
One can only hope
And as far as her saying no to the idea , Well she has a right to change her mind

happyfeet64

Sorry to say it boys but I voted for Obama the first time to give him a chance and the second cuz he was the lesser of two evils. I would have wanted the Dem party to put Hiliary up the first time but alas, all you good ole boys were scared of having a woman with bigger bollocks than most men as well as more intelligence. Hopefully, she'll run in 2016 and I will be one of the more vocal supporters, if she does.
