Down in front

I caused a bit of a distraction during the most interesting time during Fremont Ross High School's graduation.

Just before the 300-plus graduates received their diplomas, I positioned myself in a way so I could photograph each student.

Little did I know I blocked the view of the speaker announcing the students' names.

"Photographer, please move," the person said on a microphone.

I didn't pay attention because I didn't know she was talking about me.

"Photographer, we need you to move," the person said again.

I turned around and noticed I was delaying the crowning moment hundreds in attendance waited for. I quickly moved and the graduation went on as planned. Sorry to all in attendance for causing a minor disturbance.

I wasn't there, but nice of you to explain the situation and apologize.
