Everyone knows the importance of a good education for our children. In our rainbow society, diversity is a key element to success.

The beauty of Sandusky City Schools is the diverse opportunity it offers for every child to succeed, from pre school, those with special needs, the gifted, the college or military bound, the artistically and athletically motivated, the technically inclined who want a good job right after graduation, and to those who are not yet sure of what they want to do with their lives.

Our Adult Education program provides opportunities to our adult community to enhance their employment potential. Our recently announced Transformation Plan, designed to dramatically redefine the delivery of academic and educational services within our schools, will launch our students into 21st century technology, putting them in a position to compete at a global level.

The opportunity to graduate from Sandusky High School with a college level associate degree, a great financial savings for parents, is a large part of that plan. We have four grandchildren in Sandusky Schools who represent the 4 of our family to proudly say “We Are Blue Streaks”! The renewal of Issue 3 — not a new tax — will maintain the financial integrity of our district through 2019. We encourage you to join us in voting YES on Issue 3 on May 6.

Go Streaks.
