U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, seems to send me a new press release every five minutes or so. He must have a very busy staff.
The senator has a couple of useful public service announcements in two recent releases that I want to share with you.
Brown announced that there is a new fraud hotline to report “fraud, waste, abuse or mismanagement” of funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program (better known as the “Wall Street bailout.”)
The phone number is 877-744-2009. Or submit a report online at this site.
Brown also announced that his Web site for information about the economic recovery program is being regularly updated. The site “now includes resources from federal agencies that participated in his Economic Recovery Seminar Tour. Brown’s page makes available PowerPoint presentations from the U.S. Departments of Agriculture (USDA), Energy (DOE), Labor (DOL), and General Services Administration (GSA) that were available at the recovery workshops Brown’s office held across the state.”
The site includes deadlines for various grants and information organized around various issues and programs.

Can you report ALL FRAUD on this hotline?

Captain Gutz

Why don't you go to the web site and find out, so  you can stop WONDERING if you can  report ALL FRAUD on this hotline? Or, just call the hotline, it's toll free which means you the taxpayer already paid for the call.

I was being sarcastic........
