Cedar Point officials have grown weary of announcing that WindSeeker is about to launch, then having to try to explain the latest delay. So they are sticking to their story today, saying only that the ride will launch "as soon as possible."
However, there are definite signs the park is finally about to launch the ride. Spokesman Robin Innes confirms that employees tested the ride Monday night, after the park closed.
"I heard it was a very exciting ride," Innes said.
In addition, Innes confirms that the Ohio Department of Agriculture has been asked to inspect the ride and certify it for use. That's a sign the park believes the ride is ready.
