The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported today that Sandusky native Jon Gruden has taken himself out of the search for a new Browns coach.

"Jon Gruden announced to his ESPN radio audience in the wee hours of Tuesday morning that he will not be coaching in 2011 and will return to the network booth as a football analyst," the paper reported.

Did anyone honestly believe that a proven winner such as himself would even consider for a split second about surrounding himself with a bunch of losers?  REALLY?

I really get tired of hearing people bash the browns players. These guys are a class act and heres why I say that. My 15 year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer last year. The so called loosers you refer to have been instrumental in my sons recovery. These guys have gone out of their way to make my sons treatments easier to deal with. They text and email him regularly to see how he is doing,He even got to spend an entire day with the players which was a great day for him even though he is sick.Scott Fujita,Ben Watson, Sheldon Brown,Ray Ventrone,Tony Pacshos,Chris Gocong and many others are in my book all winners. They have brought happiness to a boy that really didnt have much to smile about. So maybe they didnt win a bunch of games but in no way does that make these guys loosers. What they did for my family is better than any super bowl win! They are winners!!!
