The new Liberty Aviation Museum at Erie Ottawa Regional Airport still has a long way to go in getting its displays set up, and its diner won't be open for about another couple of weeks, but it does have a few things to see.
When I came by Tuesday, the museum's B-25 Mitchell bomber was absent because it had flown off to participate in an air show in Oshkosh.
However, it has a "substitute" bomber, a B-25 Mitchell owned by the Yankee Air Museum. Visitors this week are invited to look at it while the museum's own bomber is away.
