It's Biden

If you pay any attention to the news, you already know Sen. Obama has picked Sen. Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate. I posted to point you to the column David Brooks wrote yesterday, explaining why he hoped Biden would be the selection, and to give you a place to talk about the decision.  Here is the Wikipedia bio, and here is Biden's official Senate page.

Sen. Obama has campaigned on a premise of changing Washington politics and then he picks a three decades long insider for his running mate?

His campaign strategy appears increasingly confused almost daily.

I would have thought that a former or current governor would have been a better choice. He should at least have chosen someone who has some experience with running a state administration.

Kinda of the reverse of the 2004 Democratic candidates where Edwards was a one term Senator and Kerry was the long-time insider.

Senator Biden is a great choice for VP. He's an honest, decent man with the wisdom and experience to make a great veep.

Obama is a magnificent reader but he can't speak. Biden plagiarizes and has a rapid-fire mouth.

Great ticket to failure.

Personally, I've heard that many hard core Dems ain't gonna vote for 'em.

Crackhead

well it's too bad. i had my heart set on ron paul. then huckabee. now we're stuck with two more dingbats. biden? what a crock. this is so fixed. 300 million American citizens, and these idiots are what we get to choose from? i have great ticket for november. it's the idiot ticket and the two names on it are--- mccain/obama.
i'm writing my own name in. i will not stop voting. this makes me sick...

It is so dissappointing to see Biden selected ahead of Hillary Clinton....and I will not vote for the Obama-Biden ticket.

Kinda of funny... 8 years ago Democrates hammered Bush for picking Cheney. Now Mr. unexperienced (145 days as a Sen.) picks a 30+ Washington vet. Unreal!

Will Obama Biden Loser make bringing Osama bin Laden to justice a priority?

Hillary has been had by Obama. He used her to further his goal. Hillary thought she might win points if she jump on Obama's band wagon only to get doubled cross. Is this who you want for president? Obams needed her votes and the Hillary people are not going to put up with the double cross. Both Mcann and Obama are stinkers. I don't know which is worse to have as president. I absolutely refuse to hold my nose and vote. I am sickened as to the polictical games that were played. We had better people running and they were knocked out even before the games started.

Go ahead and waste your vote on Ralph Nader, you might as well vote for yourself you might get the same amount of votes. As far as the political games that were played, have you been living under a rock your entire life or is this the first election of any kind you have followed. Politics has been and always will be a dirty game, and I for one couldnt be happier.
By the way I guess we will see if Barry Obama keeps his word and doesnt go negative in the remainder of the campaign...I seriously doubt it.

Come on McCain, make the smart move and pick Sarah Palin!!!

Way to go Obama, you had my vote but not anymore. Who else is on the ballot? I guess I will be "none of the above"

Who is wasting their vote? I compare the two choices like choosing to eat a dog feces sandwich or a cat feces sandwich. I decline both choices. I vote NO to both McCain or Obama. Enjoy your sandwich.

Voting for Nader: I don't agree with your choice but I likewise don't agree with the naysayers that you're wasting your vote. Vote your conscious.

I've voted Libertarian since 1992 and will in no uncertain terms be casting my vote in Nov. for Bob Barr.

I'd love to see the 'minor party' candidates on the dais during the debates asking the 'tough questions' of the 'major party' candidates.

Is a vote for NADA!

A Waste. You should write in Hillary if you are going to do that.

There's no such thing as a wasted vote. That is a falsehood.

The only votes that could ever truly be considered wasted are the ones not cast by eligible citizens who fail to exercise their right-to-vote.
