Erie County Democrats are offering rides to the polls Tuesday for people who live in Sandusky and Perkins Township.. Unfortunately, the artlce on this in Saturday's paper was printed with the wrong telephone number. The correct number is 419-656-8757.

Some details: The service is free. Once the voter calls, the Erie County Democratic Party will verity the voter's registration, figure out where his or her polling place is, and dispatch the cab. The service is being offered by the Erie County Democratic Party and the Campaign for Change, and local cab companies: Majestic, Dependable Shuttle and City Service.

In addition, hourly shuttle pickup service to the polls will be provided at 15 minutes after the hour from 7:15 a.m. until 7:15 p.m. at 7-Eleven Food Store, 1005 Camp Street, Sandusky, and Eastern Mini-Mart, 1903 Cleveland Road, Sandusky.

Voting Tuesday is from 6:30 am. to 7:30 p.m.

I am voting for McCain, can I still get a ride?

It is none of their business who you vote for. So, just lie, and vote for whomever you want once you get there.

Boycott majestic, dependable, and city service, you have alternatives in Best Bet, Cruisin City,First Choice, Mr. Taxi, or Northcoast. All sensible people should boycott the companies that I believe are breaking the law. It's just another democratic ploy between minority owners. Ask them for a free ride to Big O's for the party turned riot when McCain wins

If anybody getting the free ride from a private company to the polls today were told to vote for Osama, please inform me so I can get this lawsuit started

Is it really necessary for you to call the 3 county commissioners the 3 Amigos? This has a negative connotation to it and it is unfair of you to start name calling. These candidates won their seats fair (at least on their part) and square. The Sandusky Register should be ashamed of the way they have treated Tom Ferrell in their newspaper. Journalists are supposed to report news unbiased and by reporting the facts. There is no need to put your own little personal inuendo into the report. The voters and the readers of your newspaper do not wish to read that. I recommend that the Sandusky Register owes Tom Ferrell a public apology for the way they have treated him. Can we please have some REAL journalism in our local paper please? Is that too much to ask?
