Cooking for family

Well this past week has been much better as far as my diet goes.

And I have actually been utilizing Lions Park by my house to exercise.

I will be seeing my NOMS trainer Shawn Zahel every Tuesday and Thursday.

My doctor put me on a strict diet; he cut out most of my carbs.

Sometimes it gets overwhelming cooking for my son Jay and then myself, on top of my busy schedule.

I get discouraged sometimes because the weight doesn’t come of fast enough.

I know it takes hard work and it doesn’t happen overnight, but it takes a toll on me mentally and physically.

I try, but I have to try harder. Failure is not an option for me.

It doesn't take any more time to cook six servings than it does to make two. I usually cook one or two days a week, and put single servings into containers I can just microwave at my convenience. Not only does it save me time most days, it prevents me from eating quick (and usually bad) foods and controls portions to boot!
