It's definitely been a better week, but it's definitely hard working out after not working out for a long time.
I've written out a plan for myself as far as workouts go.
My legs feel like they weigh a ton as I try to do leg drives.
This past week has taught me a few things about myself.
How much of an emotional eater I am.
How much I have not pushed myself.
How stress plays a huge part in how I operate.
I also learned if you want something bad enough you have to work bad enough for it.
In my last blog, I talked about how I was kinda on pause ... well, that's over!!
I am back in the gym, baby!! Whoop whoop!
I am super excited and I still managed to lose a little weight on my own in the time I was out of the gym.
Well, I've been on pause recently because of my schedule and my babysitter situation.
I want to scream!
Then I have people saying, "Don't mess up this opportunity."
I'm like "Oh, so you must have a solution to this problem? Oh, you don't? Then shut up!""
This past week hasn't been very productive.
My son was sick with strep throat and the flu.
This week definitely has to make up for this one.
But I am a mommy first.
This past week has been a real eye-opener for me.
I realized how precious life is and how important it is to be healthy. Not just to look good, but to have a better quality of life while we are here on earth.
This past week I had mixed feelings about my 8-pound weight loss.
This past week went much better!
Even though I sometimes have difficulties getting with my trainer at NOMS, I have used some of the things he taught me and I do them at home.
Well this past week has been much better as far as my diet goes.
And I have actually been utilizing Lions Park by my house to exercise.
I will be seeing my NOMS trainer Shawn Zahel every Tuesday and Thursday.
My doctor put me on a strict diet; he cut out most of my carbs.
This has not been a good past week.
My schedule has been all over the place.
I was not able to meet with my trainer at NOMS.
I'm not discouraged; I just know how much harder I have to work now.
Well, well, well ... it's about to get real folks.
Body still sore from my workout, started a new job and diet about to change dramatically.
But I'm ready. A little stressed but ready.
