Catnip's not just for kittens

This week on master herbalist Mary Colvin's blog, she writes of the medicinal uses for catnip — beyond the obvious feline attraction.

"Catmint tea was used extensively in Europe before the use of tea from China for its many beneficial properties and pleasant taste. It was grown in the garden as an attractive plant, for medicine, and as a deterrent to rats!"
