I like running. I like biking. I'm not so sure about swimming.
But if someone wants to compete in a triathlon, you have to swim before they let you bike and run. Duathlons are also an option. And where there are triathlons, there are usually duathlons.
The local area is steeped in race options for all ages and distances in the next couple months. There is an evolution for most runners and my evolution has taken me from 5ks to 10ks to half marathons. I have registered for what I tell people will be my only full marathon, Columbus. But before that race in October I am evolving further to the bike and the lake.
There are three triathlons, with duathlon options, in the next two months. Norwalk, Vermilion and Cedar Point will host the events, the links are below. Cedar Point will kickoff the Rev3 weekend with a Glow Race 5k and there are also many options for kids.
Cedar Point will also host the Color Run in September, another fun race if you haven't experienced one.
If you ran in the Huron River Fest 5k this past Saturday, there is a gallery of over 300 images posted HERE.
