hmmmm.... well I can easily see why the mother chose the brother as POA.

here's an easy solution ..... Write her out of the will completely !!!greed really comes out at a time like this.

I would have to see the text message to know if they were truly sent. It could just be that the police were told that they were. As far as the woman goes, maybe she is really concerned for her mother. Maybe her mother was talked into making one child the POA over another. I was POA for my mother. In every transaction I did for mom, I took another sibling along. We did not do anything unless we were all in agreement.

Sometimes.there is reason, for the other sibling to complain. Maybe she knows something we don't. Point in case... My sister was POA of my mom. Come to find out, She spent 4000 dollars on her own personal needs. Needless to say, we told her, she had a choice , either let the bank, handle mom's personal affairs, or else. She chose to let the bank handle things.

My mother was made the POA over my grandmother after my grandfather died. She was made so by my grandmother herself who was competent up until 3 months before she died. My mother's brother sure didn't have anything to worry about. My mother was probably one of the most honest people God ever put on the face of this earth. After my grandmother suffered a stroke and my mother had to take over paying all of her bills, etc. she kept a record of every single penny she spent. After my grandmother's death, she also made sure the instructions in her Will were followed to a t. There was even a life insurance policy that my mother was the sole beneficiary on ---- she split it right down the middle with her brother.

That's why it will irk me until the day I die what those attorneys and those other dirt-bags did to my mother at the end of her life with those ugly forged power of attorneys, forged wills, fraudulent transfer of her property and all those criminal changes to her contracts --- even cash surrendering in all of her life insurance policies two months before her death on a forged power of attorney with bogus Erie County Recorder numbers faxed down the side of it.

Karma will get all of them someday. In fact, it already has a few. I won't be satisfied until it gets the whole bunch.
