Personal pride went right out the window as I covered last Thursday's John McCain rally. Maybe "out the window" isn't the best way to put it, "over my head" is probably a better description.

We recently did a story on the Erie County Senior Center in downtown Sandusky and I had the opportunity to meet Iola Palmerson. Iola is the ping-pong champion of her age group in Erie County.

Can I use your window?

Sometimes my job as a photojournalist can take me to some crazy places. I've had my head out the top of the Tin Goose while taking photos, numerous rides at Cedar Point on Media Day and even the control booth inside the Sandusky Coal Docks.

In memory of Michelle

Mills Creek Golf Course hosted the Michelle Keegan Memorial Golf Outing Saturday. Michelle Keegan, 36, died almost two months ago after a sudden illness. She was a 1990 graduate of Sandusky High School with her twin sister Dana.

It's Friday the 13th 'again' and my name is Jason

I used to cringe when a black cat would cross my path and think "Oh no, seven more years of bad luck." But after all of those years totaled triple digits (a lot of cats run across the street while I am driving to assignments in a given day) I stopped cringing.
