I had the chance to meet Sandy Dalton yesterday as we had a story today about her upcoming appearance on the Price is Right this Friday. Sandy went to Hollywood in July for a taping of the show and was asked to "Come on down."
After the Cleveland Browns blew their lead in the Thursday night game to the Broncos I swore I wasn't going spend another Sunday watching them play again this season. Now I have to watch just to see what else could go wrong on a season that had so much promise.
Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Kohl's and Toys 'R Us are probably the most exciting and extended lines to wait in during Black Friday. And believe me, I have seen quite a few of them since working as a photographer at the Register. People wait for as long as 30 hours to get their "deal of the year."
Sunday's are usually the divided days in the Werling family when it comes to sports. My wife is from the Pittsburgh area which means all of my in-laws are from the Pittsburgh area, which means my life as a Browns fan can be pretty rough at times.

Personal pride went right out the window as I covered last Thursday's John McCain rally. Maybe "out the window" isn't the best way to put it, "over my head" is probably a better description.
