Matt Westerhold
Mar 29, 2013

You never know what Matt and Eda are going to talk about or what our online audience is going to ask about.

Eda Handly, the Register's love and relationship blogger, was our guest and took questions from the audience.

The Register's education reporter, Alissa Widman, was also a guest to talk about the battle for public schools and tax measures coming up on the May election ballot.

The program was live at noon and available for demand viewing in the player below.

She's a sweetheart!

Why, the answer to every single question that she posts on here should be a simple "No!!!" or "What is wrong with you, get a life".

Is she qualified to give advice and mess with people's minds? She was just on the show just recently and now she is back.

Anyone can be a "Life Coach". Ever watch Penn and Teller's show B.S. on HBO? They showed just how full of B.S. the "Life Coaching" industry is. Right up there with Snake Oil.

Truth or Dare

FYI Eda; Pedophilia is the sexual desire for children! The sexual molestation and rape of children at the hands of Pedophiles will not diminish if Prostitution were legalized. They don't want a woman/man, they desire a child, no matter how young!

Eda M. Handly

Angry much? You're missing the entire point. Prostitutes are willing to be PAID to make fantasies come true, to an extent. Rather than submitting to a certain fantasy, as disgusting as it may be, and hurting people, prostitutes are many times willing to do things most people wouldn't even consider. Thus, sexual crimes as a whole would diminish. Other countries have already statistically proved this theory.

Second Opinion

Really.. I would like you to show those miracle statistics.

I'm having trouble finding a study that backs your assertion that prostitution decreases sex crimes. It may decrease the crime of prostitution since it would then be legal, however, in the studies I've read nearly every other sex crime appears to increase in areas where prostitution is legal.

Should I date a women with really short blond hair who writes about relationship issues?

Phil Packer

Wait, that's not real blond hair. Sorry.

Eda M. Handly

More than half the women you know don't wear their real hair color dear.

That's a promise.

Phil Packer

I don't even know what my real hair color is anymore...I think its gray.

Phil Packer

Have the courage to be who you really are!

Women will continue to color their hair...and men will continue to shave theirs off once it recedes..Big deal..Who cares?

The Big Dog's back

You have more patience than me Eda.

Eda M. Handly

We should have more patience for those who are brave and tactless only when they hide behind computer screens.

Angry much?

Eda M. Handly

Not at all :) I find it rather humorous...

LOL. You sure have big dog pegged.

Never marry anyone who has more problems than your own. Never marry someone who is your opposite. People are not magnets and opposites should not attract for people. Look for someone who shares your interests.

Marie W. once told me that. :)

Concerned citizen is right, there is a lot of swinging going on around here. Hell..there's a local respected professional man who hosts " swinger parties." That's how he met his current wife. They both seem to be very happy!

Phil Packer

Just a suggestion, either "mike" the guy submitting the questions to the panel or repeat the question for the listening audience. The dialogue was hard to follow when you had to try and figure out what the question was with the answers being given. Thanks :-)

Or, just have Matt use that computer on his desk to field the questions himself. Really though, Jason should have a mic as well if he is to field the questions.

Jason Werling

Thanks for the comment, I'll have a microphone next time.
