E-mail to Commissioner Dennis Miller Jr.

Matt Westerhold
Mar 23, 2010

Dear Commissioner Dennis Miller:

I am sorry that we have never had the opportunity to meet, but I wanted to take a moment to urge you to very carefully read the above captioned report. I hope you take the time to do that and question if this was indeed a fair and impartial investigation of the facts, or whether it followed the dictates of an agenda.

I also wanted to mention to you that I met a man at the city commission meeting on Thursday who shared with me his thoughts about this issue and others. He also mentioned he's lived in his home in the 1500 block of Shelby Street for 67 years and said there are eight vacant houses surrounding his home. I drove to his neighborhood earlier today, and sadly, it appears the information he gave me is exactly correct.

I wonder if the more than $40,000 spent so far on the Murman investigation and related expenses would have been better spent to protect our neighborhoods and secure our city's future.

Please feel free to call me anytime. There are a great many other concerns I have regarding this issue, and it would be nice to meet and talk with you about them. Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.

Sincerely,

Matt Westhover

After the November election I surely hope that we will have a town hall meeting with all of our public officials.

I need some suggestions as to where we should have it. Any ideas who the moderator should be?

RE: Town meeting,

After the election is a bit to late don't ya think?

Why isn't it in the town hall or public town place? Why should any of us pay more money to see if any of them will even show up?

Are we to intice them there with the thought of a fine meal at one of the local tourist traps?

If there is one it sure shouldn't be about comfort or coffee getting served!!!!!

Good luck to you...you'll Never see this come to pass anymore then any of us can get results in private forum!

Why doesn't any of the lawyers around run against Baxter? Because I'd say at the rate They are digging into ppls pockets in all this mess, it'd be a cut in pay for them! Plus more accountability could some day be forced upon them!

Anonymous

We need someone to sponsor this meeting such as any organization including the SCLC. Maybe Bishop Cox would be interested in being the moderator. However, it would be more beneficial for the public if the community had someone sponsoring the event.

Any comments suggestions or comments?

Why doesn't anybody run against Baxter, period! Seems kind of odd that NOBODY ever runs against the SAME people term after term and its always the public office that people are complaining about the MOST.....like Baxter and the Probate Court. Something stinks.....

LaSALLE BUILDING LOBBY. MODERATOR: THAT'S THE PROBLEM, THEY'RE ALL PART OF THE BROKEN SYSTEM. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

HOW ABOUT CARL MONDAY?

Bob Williams should be promoting Bob Barr, Libertarian for President, but he wrote an article on his website saying the Libertarian Party should be spanked for having Bob Barr as its candidate. Bob Williams is supporting the Constitution Party's Chuck Baldwin for President, and Bob Williams is the District 9 Representative of the Libertarian Party's Central Committee! Williams is doing a Colin Powell on the Libertarian Party.

So when Williams says the mass media is censoring McKinney of the Green Party, Williams no doubt means that ALL third party candidates are getting ignored. The Register did cover Bob Barr's visit to Northeast Ohio, but the Cleveland paper and the Lorain paper ignored it!

That said, Bob Barr is the best choice for president. Yes, it's true that he used to be a Republican. But he quit them and that is what any good decent Christian would do. Ron Paul should quit the GOP too, but he doesn't. Bob Barr did! And Barr says he did wrong and Republicans are wrong! This is to his credit.

Ohio voters who believe that Obama is different from McCain have been duped the differences in their oratorial presentations. The dupes include the reporters at the Register who also assume that Obama is different from McCain. They only SOUND different when they give campaign speeches - their voting records are nearly identical. McBama both voted for Bush over 90% of their votes in Congress as Senators!

I'm worried about the future of Ohio's economy. I know that McBama will continue to promote the same failed policies that Democrats and Republicans have been jointly promoted for too long now.

The Libertarian Party is much, much more than Bob Barr. The Libertarian Party is America's third largest party since 1972. They have hundreds of Libertarians holding offices around the country. Libertarians are our best hope for the future. www.lpo.org

As Election Day 2008 rolls around this year there is almost a feeling of inevitability in the air. Barack Obama leads in just about all the polls for President, he’s contesting in several traditional red states like Indiana and Georgia and does not appear to be losing ground in any of the blue states.

The one blue state that the McCain camp points to as a target is Pennsylvania. Currently, according to realclearpolitics.com, PA sits at a +8.5 for Obama and as high as +14 in some polls. If this is McCain’s last best hope then God bless him. He appears to be a drowning man swimming for the anchor. McCain is hoping some undercurrent of western PA racism will float him to the top on November 4th in the Keystone State and save him. We’ll see…

By all media accounts if you are a Democrat, moderate or liberal, a poor man, a union man, a black man, a Muslim man, a French man or any other kind of man that Rush Limbaugh has yelled at in the last month, things are looking pretty good for you.

Buyer’s remorse? Is anyone having second thoughts about Barack Obama? With all this good news something must be wrong. Can this many people be right? Not likely…

Can Joe the Plumber be wrong? I heard him myself; he said we need to take our country back. Back from who Joe? The George Bush Republicans? Joe might be right; the McCain Republicans need to take the country back from the Bush Republicans. That way we get the country back and the Republicans still have it, win-win! Joe is straight, Joe is wise…

And what about this Obama guy? Is he even American? What about his birth certificate? The Republican governor of Hawaii has certified that it is genuine and sealed it, after letting independent fact checkers examine it, copy and photograph it. This sound like a conspiracy. What are they hiding?

How about Obama himself? At onetime he had some kind of inspiring biography. Local boy, bi-racial, fatherless, raised by mother and grandparents, forced to study long and hard to get an education. Attends the best schools culminating in a law degree from Harvard University where he became the Harvard Law Review's first black president. What’s kind of crap is this rascal trying to prove?

And now we find out he is a terrorist, or at least he pals around with terrorists. And what about that minister? Who wasn’t shocked to find out that black people still harbor some occasional resentment toward the white man? We just assumed that at the end of every service the congregation would take turns standing up and naming their favorite white guy. How sad to find different. I guess there is still some work to do…

Is that an American story? You want a real American story? Rich party boy from wealthy political family goes to Yale, with family intervention, sadly he feels the other student think they are better than him but he overcomes and graduates. He then becomes rich middle aged party boy, finds Christ, buys a Major League baseball team with no money and becomes a governor then a President. Now that is an American story you can be proud of!

Buyer’s remorse? I’m new to it, I’ve never voted for a Bush…

The Liberty Bell inscription comes from Leviticus 25:10 "Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants thereof".

Vote Libertarian.

Hey Mr. Baxter you and McGookey really should not be allowing attorneys and Judges in Erie County to criminally defraud the elderly and incompetent at the end of their lives. You shouldn't be allowing financial institutions to criminally defraud them, either.

Nick: I tend not to believe polls that often they have been wrong way too many times before. For example, Reagan won in a landslide in 1980 when the polls were close a few days before. In 2004 exit polls showed large wins for Kerry where Bush eventually won the state. I believe this is because regular guys like me and you hate getting phone calls and will lie to the pollsters just to mess with them!

So, do you live at home with your parents?

Re BO:

Yea right. Reads like you've chosen a heart surgeon to perform your critical operation who has no ER experience but who gushingly promises you a splendid outcome.

IMO, like Clinton, the media, which has helped to create BO’s aura of personality, will work to destroy him. For the Fourth Estate it's all about ratings and eyeballs. Re-watch the movie, 'Network.' Not that long ago fiction became reality.

Gettin' back to principles of the U.S. Constitution of limited Federal govt. would be favorable to either of the Dumb and Dumber parties’ political pap.

go22gators

Why is America stuck with just two parties that do not work anymore. We have two parties trading power every 8 years, and getting nothing done except lining there own pocket. CNN had a report about senator ted stevens who was just convicted on 6 felony counts of accepting gift from government contractors. I found it shocking that he will be able to keep his $122K a year pension even after the passing of the new ethics bill. Why, you ask? Because the bill only effects people who are convicted of bribery, theft, and 3 or 4 others NOT ILLEGALLY ACCEPTING GIFTS!!!

That proves to me right there, we cannot trust these people anymore. They do not have our best interest at heart anymore they only want power!!! republicans did the last 12 years, the democrats did it before them. The sad thing is we got here by just ignoring whats going on until something happens that effects our pocket books; Its only then were torked off. We still don't call our congress person or senator. We still dont make time to vote. More times than not we just throw up our hands and say I have no control! The truth ithough s we are in control, but it takes effort. It take you and me to know how our elected official vote, what bills they sponsor, how they govern, and to let them know what you approve of and dont! It takes all of us 100% of us to goto the polls and vote!

Anonymous

You must be cowards because you are now challenged to address this corrupt officials and all you do is stand mute.

Shame on you, stop complaining about them if you don't want to do anything about the deplorable situation this county is in.

Someone tries to assist all of you in bringing this matter to the fore-front and you guys just back off.

Well, maybe it's not as bad as you say it is. Let me know when you've had enough of the brow beatings okay.

Anonymous

Gee, I'm game and I don't back off from anybody but what's your point? Do you really believe these public officials would have a Town Meeting? Give me a break. That is a joke, joke, joke. So name the time and place. Where are you passing out flyers? What's the Town Meeting supposed to accomplish?
I also would like to mention that I already addressed these officials (it's a matter of public record) and THEY are the ones that are standing MUTE, not I.

Anonymous

Standing MUTE on their part is what they are KNOWN for...Oh by the way, what's going on with the Ejay Baxter case? Sounds like Judge Tygh Tone is STANDING MUTE!

Anonymous

Bishop Cox is willing to support Sandusky. He has expressed a great interest especially since he's the spokes person for the McDonald Case actively seeking the release of McDonald.

Bishop Cox has been asking all of the ministers in Sandusky to help get rid of Kevin Baxter for years. He agrees that a town hall would be a start for the ministers to express the corruption of Kevin Baxter.

Please give Bishop Cox a call at
937-648-4423, He will be happy to moderate or be apart of a much needed Town Hall and show his support !

Thanks !

Anonymous

STANDING MUTE.......maybe if we stand mute long enough it will go away.......but don't count on it.

Anonymous

I have spoken with some of my colleagues and they agree that a moderator is definitely needed for the Town Hall Meeting.

However, because Bishop Cox is affiliated with supporting Dewitt McDonald it would not be wise to have him moderate the event. It would be best to have a neutral party whom has no ties to any particular group or individuals' cause.

So if anyone can recommend someone as moderator please do so asap.

Now, we would like as many people as possible to attend this event so more than likely this will transpire over a period of 2 days.

The first day we would like to address the city officials, i.e., Judge O'brien, The Chief of Police, The Law Director, and The city prosecutors at Muni Court.

On day 2 we could address the following officials: The County Prosecutors (Kevin Baxter and Co.), The Common Pleas Judges and Magistrates, Victims Services, and the Sheriffs' Office.

Now, all we have to do is have an organization sponsor this event. Maybe the ACLU, The Citizens For Justice Group, SCLC, or NAACP would be interested in sponsoring this event.

If anyone is a member of any of the aforementioned organizations please contact the chair person and find out if they would be interested in participating and or sponsoring this event.

I would like to see the community get involved for once and participate and act like you give a da8m about what is going on in this county.

Elsebeth would be proud of you all.

A couple of years ago the NAACP had a town hall meeting at one of those halls on Perkins Avenue.

Kevin Baxter and Co. attended along with several police officers among other public officials.

That matter dealt with minority youth in the community being targeted by police.

Anyways, a town hall meeting transpired. So don't say that officials will not attend.

Stop being so negative, if we as the community want it we can make it happen.

Talk to your neighbors and co-workers about this idea.

America is a pretty scary place tonight – tomorrow we’ll know if we will continue to suffer for 4 more years under the same failed policies that Democrats and Republicans have been shoving to us for too long. The economy here and abroad is teetering on the edge of collapse – we’re talking the 1930s Great Depression – and the Demopublicans have NO CLUE what to do about it!

A vote for either McCain or Obama means aiding and abetting our slide into corporate socialism. McCain and Obama cannot deny that they and their parties – the Democrats and Republicans, worked together recently to ram a Bailout through Congress in a climate of fear. McCain and Obama joined together like two sides of the same coin in a gigantic scam that pretends to treat the symptoms of Wall Street’s securitization scam, but it does not address the root causes and will do nothing to alleviate the symptoms.

The Bailout rewards the reckless and perhaps illegal behavior of securitization traders that weakened Wall Street in the first place! Left unchecked, Mc-Bama’s Bailout will crush the economy while socializing our formerly free enterprises by concentrating financial power in giant megabanks partly owned by the government and in the hands of the U.S. Treasury Dep’t. Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) put it best when he said before Congress – “We’re all Democrats now”!

There is a better way: vote for CHUCK BALDWIN of the Constitution Party. Chuck Baldwin’s idea is that Wall Street should pay for fixing the problems it created in the first place. Baldwin’s plan would not only strengthen our financial system for the long run, but Baldwin’s plan would also protect the interests of the taxpaying public. Vote Right, Vote Baldwin. www.Baldwin08.com

A DISINTERESTED PARTY WHO IS GREAT AT INVESTAGATIVE JOURNALISM. (DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO CARL MONDAY IS)

He is not the man that you think he is. He has lost his enthusiasm.

It would be nice to have someone local. Maybe Dr. Richard Koonce, he was a former reporter for the Sandusky Register.

Any comments or suggestions?

McCain and Obama both embraced the practrice of socialist government in their bailout of the Wall Street swindlers, which instantly put both of them into the same category of morally unacceptable.

A DISINTERESTED MODERATOR WITHOUT LOCAL INTERESTS IS WHAT WE NEED TO SERVE THIS MEETING OBJECTIVELY AND FAIRLY. WE CAN'T TARNISH THIS EFFORT WITH LOCAL PREJUDICE AND EXPECT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
