What was Ferrell supposed to do. He spent much of his previous terms as a minority on the commission. If you want to blame anybody blame McQueeny. She's the one that did nothing for the people of Erie County except belong to 50,000 organizations and never attend the meetings of those boards she was on. The Republicans had the majority and did nothing except bail out Sandusky Water dept and kill GEM. Your hatred for Ferrell is misguided at best and surely misplaced.

We agree on your thoughts about Ferrell. McKeen was just as bad, but she's not running for re-elction. Where you and I disagree is Barb Johnson as Clerk of Courts. I read one of your posts 2 months ago where you stuck up for her, however, she is another that is running for re-election in November and she too needs to go! I put her in the same boat as Redfern, Ferrel, and Murray.

The Erie County Democratic Party needs to bring back Dave Giese as chairman. He would stop the terrible back biting going on within the party. He never bowed down to Redfern and his click. We won almost every election under his leadership. He found no need to use people to constantly raise money. The Democratic Party used to be the party of the working families.

You can bet that Dave Giese would have never invited a Republican Supreme Court justice to a Democratic Party event as Amy Grubbe did. It appears that Republicans are now running the Erie County Democratic Party. What a shame!

FYI : Your asking what is Tom Ferrell supposed to do.Tom being the President of the Erie County Board of Commissioners the last to year,with the majority of the board being 2 Democrats and 1 Repulican.Let me ask you this how many Commissioner meetings has Mr. Ferrell attended/missed the last 2 years. Tom is lucky to spend 4 hours a week doing county business.Tom be honest dude,you know Nancy McKeen is a Full Time Commissioner being she works 40 hours plus a week helping the citizens of Erie County.The word on the street is that Mr. Ferrell can't /doesn't communicate with the Union employees.I'll be honest Mr. Ferrell i'm a true blue Democrat and it is time for a change,we need a Full Time Erie County Commissioner.

I have to wonder why the Sandusky Register is not reporting the news about Marc Dann's office. Could it be that all news must be cleared by Redfern first? It seems like the newspaper just loves to report the news about picnic tables and horseplay at the OSP but refuses to report the news about Dann.

Dann's office made headlines again in the Columbus Dispatch about his other friend that was put on leave. Why isn't the Sandusky Register reporting the real news?
