Amazing! The leader of the free world is a late night comedian. No end to the campaigner-in-chief! There are no problems (obamacare) that need any attention. He should show up for BTL, but it will cut into his golf time...

Matt Westerhold

The BTL team can meet him at the Mills Creek golf course.

New Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll:

"Mr. Obama's job approval ticked down to 41% in March from 43% in January, marking a new low."

@ Mr. Westerhold:

Keep it classy and don't let him drag the SR down. :)

I am troubled by the lack of respect for the job he holds. No wonder no one shows him our our country any respect any more . Just a common local carnival carney trying to get your attention.

So sad.

Re: ". Just a common local carnival carney trying to get your attention."

He is a national politician from the demonlican party... or is it the repuberat party... no matter there is little difference other than where they spend too much tax money... you really can't expect more from them. We need new and more choices than the one we have.

Hopefully the people will wake up.

deertracker

This country is very respected but it is no longer feared which is a good thing.

Contango

Re: "it is no longer feared,"

True.

Through the use of drones and NSA spying on foreign leaders it's hated.

deertracker

You do realize that hate and respect are two different things?

Contango

Re: "respect,"

They "respect" our money.

deertracker

Whatever pooh. Respect and money are not even closely related!

Mark Levin made me chuckle when he suggested that the President go on QVC or some other TV shopping channel and pitch insurance policies himself. So enjoy the imagery of that and whatever appearance it invokes.

"Buy my plan now for only twelve low, monthly installments of more than you can afford!"

"Purchase a family plan and I'll throw in one of my pens or phones at absolutely no additional cost!"

"Legislate today before the primaries and receive free deferment of enforcement until after the elections!"

paws4thought

Pretty hard to show respect for someone who has no respect for this country and is a continual liar.

SamAdams

The Office of President used to have dignity. Now? It seems there's NOTHING beneath this president and his attention-demanding wife! I blame Clinton for starting this sort of behavior, but even HE behaved with at least a LITTLE respect!

Are there really ANY Americans still asking why Vladimir Putin has zero respect for this country's leadership? Really?

It is people like you and Sham that have no dignity or respect for the office because you don't like who holds the office. Flexing your muscles and pounding your chest does not equal strength or demonstrate leadership.

SamAdams

I've not liked officeholders before, but I've still respected the office. I've disagreed with politicians before, but I've still honored at least the principle behind their job. Michelle Obama might be proud of the country for the very first time ever, but I'm ASHAMED (not to mention regularly embarrassed) for the first time ever! And who I find the most reprehensible varies from day to day, but Pelosi, Reid, and both of the Obamas are usually in the top 5.

The New World Czar

Simple. Like it or not, Putin acts and Obama complains.

SamAdams

...complains and/or BLAMES!

"Boxers or briefs? was the question posed and not even preceded by "Mr. President" The female reporter was rewarded by Bubba Clinton who answered smiling. (I forgot which he said)

Is anyone old enough to remember that?

The Big Dog's back

Yep, let's go back to Raygun times, with a fortune teller, TV evangelist running the country.

Re: "Yep, let's go back to Raygun times,"

6% growth per year,,, 5% unemployment,,, sounds good. Good jobs, good economy... Congress working together with the president, even between different parties...

So, you are for raising taxes? Good to know.

1. Reagan was a serial tax raiser. As governor of California, Reagan “signed into law the largest tax increase in the history of any state up till then.” Meanwhile, state spending nearly doubled. As president, Reagan “raised taxes in seven of his eight years in office,” including four times in just two years. As former GOP Senator Alan Simpson, who called Reagan “a dear friend,” told NPR, “Ronald Reagan raised taxes 11 times in his administration — I was there.” “Reagan was never afraid to raise taxes,” said historian Douglas Brinkley, who edited Reagan’s memoir. Reagan the anti-tax zealot is “false mythology,” Brinkley said.
