This is the first week that I haven’t ridden by bicycle since the FIT Challenge started. 

It’s just too cold to ride it on the windy country roads by my house.

On Sunday, my family and I attended the FIT Fright 5K at the Norwalk Reservoir.  
Leading up to the event, I had done some interval training where I would jog some, walk some, then jog some more, etc.

Finally!  I'm back to losing weight.  
Patience and hard work have paid off, but it took everything I had ... and lots of reassurance from my personal trainer Tony Johnson and others.

I still haven't lost weight and it's been four weeks now, but I'm convinced weight loss is right around the corner again.  
I've switched things up and have started running a lot more.

I had a visit with my doctor and achieved my goal of weighing 300 pounds or less, fully clothed on the doctor’s office scale.

I have finally seen a number below 300 pounds! 

Admittedly, I’m floating right above and below it depending upon my water weight from day-to-day, but nonetheless, what a great feeling.
