How is that for a great combo? none;text-autospace:none">I had two excellent workouts with my personal trainer Trevor Tieche of Bodi N Balance. He just keeps coming up with new and interesting ways to torture me.
We continue to work on my balance and strength, and I feel like I am continuing to get better at all of it. If I could just get better at the nutrition portion of this whole thing…none;text-autospace:none">I have an appointment with my doctor and am looking forward to seeing how my blood pressure, etc. are doing. I am hoping to either decrease my blood pressure medicines or get off of them completely. none;text-autospace:none">My cardio workouts continue to be enjoyable using the bike and the elliptical machines. I have now added some outdoor biking.
During the break in the swim meet I worked in Fremont, I did a 12-mile session on my bike and burned 750 calories with my heart rate steadily in the 135-140 range. My legs felt like Jell-O and my hands were numb afterward, but it was fun.none;text-autospace:none">I worked out with Trevor on Monday morning and will see him again on Thursday morning for another "fun" session. He is building a kayak out of Popsicle sticks. I guess he can't sit still too long, which may be why he looks like he does and I look like I do. I have had more people asking me how I am doing and giving me positive reinforcement and it is certainly appreciated.
