Thinking about doing an open chat tonight.  Probably around 8:30.  Anybody interested?

This has nothing to do with this topic, but you guys seem to be the only ones who give a hoot about the injustices that go on in this city.

" Let me see if I have this correct. The city can't afford to pick up leaves, but according to the legal in today's Register, they can afford to build a "splash pad". When was the public going to be informed of this waste of money and water. I don't want to hear them crying that they can't pay the light bill this year either. Since when is it the public's responsibility to provide entertainment. When I was a child, if you were hot in the summer, you got out the garden hose and connected the sprinkler. No public water park was provided and I still lived to tell about it. This is one of the stupidest things that I have ever heard. I do not appreciate my tax dollars being spent for this! "

I don't like this new format (as of this weekend?).  With the old format, you could see how many comments were connected to each thread because it would say "2 comments," or "15 comments" or whatever.  That way you could tell if there were any new comments recently posted on each article or at least the articles that were interesting to you (or me, or whoever - or maybe all three of me - LOL  ).  Now, I have to click on each article hyperlink and scroll to the bottom of each article to see if any new comments have been posted.

Any chance of changing that?

One more thing, my spouse and guests in my house would like to post under their names, but everytime they  log on to this blog, the comments are automatically in my name.  I can log out on the SR site so that they can post, but I can't here.  Is there a way I can log out?
