Another week has gone by and I have nothing new to report. I have not been working out the way I should be.
It's hard to maintain a five-to-six-days-a-week routine during the summer. I didn't expect it to be has hard as it is. I am working five to six days straight and working a lot later in the evenings.
I guess it's good I am a server because I burn calories while I am serving for six to eight hours at a time. Annette (last year's contestant) and I were talking at work. We joked about the fact that we are burning calories, but so tempted to snack at work, that some nights we are probably burning the calories we are eating!
It's nice to have someone to talk and joke around with who has participated in this challenge. We try to motivate each other. We are planning to work out together once our children go back to school.
I also met Ken Cutcher of Anytime Fitness this past week. He and his wife were seated at my table for dinner. It was a pleasure meeting them. Ken offered to help me with anything I needed.
I am running into a lot more guests at work who are recognizing me from the paper. It is nice to be noticed and hear the support that they are giving me. It's just another motivator to get my butt back into motion!
