FIT CHALLENGE: 'I don't feel like I have done my best'

These past couple of weeks have been very frustrating for me. My workouts have been on the weak side and when I say that I am talking about my performance.

For some reason I don't feel like I have done my best. I feel like I  am wasting my personal trainer Trevor Tieche's time. I don't know, maybe I need to have some fun to take my mind off the competition for a little bit.
Other than all that complaining, I'm still working out three days a week and doing exercises I learned in the gym on my own.

I am looking forward to a visit from my uncle from Chicago, his girlfriend and their little baby. I think they will be surprised to see how much weight I have lost. Also it is our family reunion, and I get a little uncomfortable with all the attention they will give me,  but they are my family and I know they are proud of me.

"Courage doesn't always roar.  Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Nobody realizes how much this is going to take when they write that letter to enter the FIT Challenge.  Reflect, breath, then reorganize your thoughts.  Fall down out of your brain for a minute and listen to your primal side.  This is the side of us that remains hungry for our wants and desires.  Don't let your conscience cage it up.  Let it run.
