Jogging again

I have had another pretty good week. Exercise-wise, I had two weight/cardio workouts with my personal trainer Trevor Tieche of Bodi N Balance and he wrote another workout that I did on my own. I also did two extra cardio/core workouts on my own.
My biggest accomplishment was jogging on the treadmill. I have not jogged in years and it isn’t too much, but it is a step in the right direction. It puts a lot of weight and pressure on my knees, but I am being careful and have had no adverse effects.
On my cardio days, I have been doing 15 minutes each on the treadmill (walking fast on an incline and jogging on a level plane); 15 minutes on the elliptical, gradually increasing the elevation and speed and then slowing for the last couple of minutes; and finally, 15 minutes on one of the bikes at a good level. I am trying to get close to five miles. I haven’t gotten there yet,  although I am getting closer.
Between each cardio session, I do one of the many core exercises Trevor has taught me. I have not weighed in this week, but I feel changes. The nutrition part is improving gradually. I am eating better each day and am more conscious of the little things. I still don’t plan very well, but am doing better with what I am eating and how much.
My goal for the next two weeks is to get in at least five workouts per week and increase my jog time a little each time I am on the treadmill. My strength is continuing to improve and with the use of the BOSU balls (weight-filled stability balls), my balance has improved quite a bit, as well as my small muscle control and agility.
