This past week went OK. I ran 4 miles on July 18; by far the longest I have ever ran in my entire life.
July 19, I was in the gym again, and we did chest. I'm seeing some improvements in my strength. Tuesday through Thursday it was hot so I stayed close to home and did some things on my own.
Friday, I worked with Derek Nimrichter. We didn't do much because I had to run the next day.
Saturday, I ran my first 5K, Trevor Tieche (my trainer) ran it with me. We had a goal that he wanted me to hit. I didn't make it, but I did finish a little less than 30 minutes in bare feet.
I enjoyed my first 5K, but next time I need something to pump me up. I was nervous; I just wanted to do a good job and I think I did for my first time.
