Is money stressing you out or do you wish you were a little more money savvy?
Do you think a budget is a waste of time because you don’t have enough money in the first place? Do you want to learn more about refinancing? Has your income decreased and you’d like to learn about some ways to stretch a buck? Having trouble paying your bills? Or do would you just like to become a little more financially literate?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then mark your calendar for 6–8 p.m. May 28 and be at the Kalahari Convention Center.
Because thanks to Pam Colbert-Brumbaugh, director of the United Way and the Erie County Save Our Homes Task Force, she has put together a dynamite seminar to help anyone who wants to learn how to deal with money.
The seminar is called Money 101.
Best of all, its FREE and complete with free drawings for gas cards and a drawing for an iPod!
Money 101 will include group seminars on topics like: Budgeting, refinancing, foreclosure and what type of local assistance is out there to help area residents with financial problems.
I’ll blog about this again as more details about Money 101 become available.
In the meantime, set this date aside and plan to come.
