Hello everyone. The past two weeks have gone all wrong for me. As you will see in my spread today I missed my goal by 4 pounds. I'm OK with my weight loss though. (46 pounds since January)
Throughout the first part of this challenge I have been faced with REAL LIFE ISSUES. Some of these issues have gotten in the way of me getting to the gym and being able to give 100 percent to my workout schedule.
I am an average person living an average life trying to maintain and take care of my family. Things come up like transportation issues. Having only one car brings you scheduling issues when kids are to be on place and my husband has to be another place, meanwhile I am supposed to be at the gym. If the car breaks down (like mine did July 2), it stops everything. Also having kids is always going to run me the chance of having distractions from them.
I am a mom first (remember, my kids are one of the main reasons I'm in this challenge). I can't abandon my everyday responsiblities of my family just to have flawless journey.
I am not making excuses, I'm just not going to be hard on myself and lose sight that this is a yearlong challenge and we are all going to have bumps in the road.
Even those we are in the public eye, this is still REAL life. No scripts were provided. This is where I am thankful for being in this challenge because it gives me the structure I needed to lose weight.
All of you readers hold me accountable and give me the motivation to jump back on track. It does not allow you to just give up. I have bought a new vehicle and I am back to the gym tomorrow. I have some lost time to make up for.
