It’s not Easter without Reese’s

This week (April 6-April 12) was the best week in awhile.
I had two good workouts with my personal trainer Trevor Tieche of Bodi N Balance, as well as a weight workout and a cardio workout on my own.
Eating was better, but still not great. Easter dinner was not really a problem – I had one helping of everything and that was it.
The problem occurred when my wife gave me the package of four Cadbury caramel eggs and it’s not Easter without a Reese’s peanut butter egg.
I went in early Monday and did a strong cardio workout to try to quickly counteract the Easter Bunny.
We have a few new pieces of equipment at the gym. By far, the most sadistic is an apparatus called “Jacob’s Ladder.” It is like climbing an endless staircase or ladder using your legs and arms. It is a very low-impact exercise, but would more aptly be named “the ladder to hell.” The longest I have gone is about 80 seconds and my legs felt like jelly for the whole day.
We did a series of leg exercise involving balance and range of motion – no weights – and it was very tiring and made me tighter than lifting weights with my legs. We also have some new balance balls and exercise balls with sand in them, but I have not worked with them yet. I can only imagine what he will have me do?!
I have not gotten on the scales this week, but I feel lighter – I hope.
