I did it. I shed the 5.6 pounds I gained in Las Vegas, thank the stars. I was unable to work out Feb. 23, so I weighed myself at work. I weighed in at 236.4 pounds. I am down 16 pounds since Jan. 5.
I am unhappy with the total weight loss, which is my fault because I went on vacation and did not follow my diet guidelines. If I would not have gone to Vegas, I would be down about 23 pounds. I would be much happier with that. Oh well, you live and learn.
I learned another new workout routine this past week. I love it. I learned to do scissor crunches; by doing these, I think I will have abs in no time. I also began using an exercise ball. With the ball, I do leg kicks, steps and squats. I also use the tread climber and ride the bike.
I worked out three days this past week. From now on, I plan on being at Weigh of Life no less than four days a week. I need to get this weight off; summer is coming quickly. I want to look nice in a pair of shorts this summer. I have not worn shorts in probably five years.
I’ m doing OK seating the right food again, but being off for a week really messed me up. I still get the urge to cheat. Girl Scout Cookies are in and I have 179 boxes of them in my house. My daughter is a Brownie Girl Scout. It is very hard to not open up a box of Caramel Delights and go to town. I’m only hurting myself when I eat foods like that or when I don’t exercise.
I want to finally start being happy with myself and the things I am doing to achieve a better me.
