This was a good week for me. I lost 4 pounds! I told everyone I didn't give up and I promised to get back on track. Well I did it and I am so proud of myself.
I didn't get to the gym on Friday due to being home with my son and Monday was a holiday and the gym was closed. Even with missing two key days of my workout I was still able to pull a 4-pound week. It just goes to show how your diet and weightlifting contribute to weight loss.
This week I also finally broke down and bought myself some new pants. It was so exciting going into the fitting room and really fitting into my new size.
To many a size 18 is nothing to be happy about but to any overweight woman it means a lot coming from sizes in the 20s. The 18s are getting a little loose so by my halfway mark I should be down another size.
Now that I have lost 40 pounds, I realize I actually gained those 40 since I have moved to Ohio. Now as I lose weight, I will be experiencing myself smaller than I have ever been since my freshman year.
I wore a size 14 and that was a long time ago. This is a big part of my motivation because it's going to be so exciting to see and feel the change.
