Hi readers, 

it's been awhile since I've blogged. I have encountered a little roadblock to my FIT Challenge.

Apparently I'm not as flexible as I was when I was younger.  I have a partial tear where my right shoulder, bicep and chest come together.

I did it wrestling a friend after a softball game. I found out the hard way I can't do things like that anymore since I turned 40.

Even though I felt great cardio wise my old bones can't take it.  I have physical therapy starting Wednesday and from what I'm told I'll be out of lifting for four to six weeks.

I'll still do cardio every day like I've been. I started walking 3.5 miles at Osborne Park a few days a week with the wife and been biking in the nice weather.

I'll start running again tomorrow since the bouncing doesn't hurt as much now after a week of pain.

Ken Cutcher my trainer and I have discussed our plan and we decided we are going to crush the legs and work on speed and agility as long as I can perform without significant pain.

I hope the other two FIT contestants are doing great. It takes some determination and will to keep this up for a year.
