Well, this week I lost a bunch of weight, but it was not for a good reason. I only ate one meal from Saturday morning to Monday night. I wasn't hungry because I lost a good friend and a fellow law enforcement officer, Andy Dunn.
I wrote in my blog a week ago that Anytime Fitness and I are going to host a 5K run for a good cause.
Although there are many great causes out there, this one hits really close to home. I plan on hosting this 5K event for 18 years straight until Andy's children are ready for college. My children know what it's like to lose a parent and so many people reached out to help them so I feel it is my turn to return the favor to a fellow brother who's family is in need.
As for the other two people who responded to my blog, I will help you also with another event. I will keep in contact with you. I don't have much else to say, but if anyone wants to participate in the run or help at the event please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your service Andy!
