I'm kinda at a standstill with my weight. I weighed out March 14 at 266 pounds. I really worked hard playing racquetball and basketball along with my Monday and Friday workouts but didn't seem to lose much weight.
I thought I'd be down to about 262 pounds by now but that didn't happen. It's due to the fact my body is demanding more intake than before because of the increase of my workload. I haven't exactly been loyal to the diet but I haven't been neglectful neither. I am going to have to feed myself some better calories it looks like.
Ken Cutcher at Anytime Fitness and I have been discussing running a few 5Ks this summer. He has me on a nine-week program that trains me to be able to do so. So far so good. I've been able to handle the pounding and endurance part thus far in the program but this is on a treadmill. I hope I can perform outside as well when the time comes.
We also are thinking of putting together a 5K ourselves and donate the money to a deserving charity, so if anyone reading this has one in particular I will be more than happy to consider it.
I'm sure I will be getting flooded with many different choices so don't feel slighted if yours doesn't get picked. We might even break it up between two who knows. We are just in the beginning phase.
