Hello! This past week was all bad. I didn’t work out like I should have. I stuck to my diet, however, so I don’t think there was any gain but I am sure there was not any loss either.
This is a new week and month so I just have to pick myself back up and go hard. I want to do as many circuit workouts as I can.
My personal trainer Barb Biltz and I have two 45-minute sessions a week where we focus on circuit, but I want to put together my own routines from the exercises Barb shows me and do at least one a day. I have to make up for lost time and I am going to Florida in May so I have to push myself for that as well.
I have a new support partner. Some of you may remember her from last year’s FIT Challenge, Annette. She has decided to get back to the gym so now we are able to push one another and have our own “friendly” completion. It will be fun to keep each other on track.
Annette inspired me last year and was the one who introduced the challenge. Without her I would have not know and never would have gotten this chance. Thanks again Annette!
Along with Annette, I also work out with Ellyn from last year so this challenge also makes for meeting great people.
I’m trying something new with my food preparation. I bought a George Forman grill to cook healthier. I’m excited to try it out. I am eating a lot of chicken these days and it will be nice to experiment with other foods. It’s hard for me to cook at home. I need more variety. I hope this will provide me with more options. I can’t wait until the weather gets better so I can fire up the grill!
As for this month, I don’t think I going to weigh-in. I am looking forward to a BIG number at the end of the month! And by the way, Congratulations to NOMS Fitness Center for winning “Best Fitness Center” by Funcoast readers. I will have to agree, I’m in the best place I can be!
