Week Two is off to a good start. I weighed in for the first week and I lost 5.5 pounds. My six-day workout seems to be paying off.

My trainer and I are focused on me losing this weight in a healthy way. I am not working to put big numbers in my blogs. I’m working at a lifestyle change. I want to keep the weight off.

We are looking to lose 2 pounds a week. By doing so, I will reach my goal of 100 pounds by the end of the challenge.

My trainer and I reviewed my diet this past week as well. I made simple changes like whole grain pastas, whole grain bread and drinking water all day, along with others. I’m all about counting my calories. I’ve cut out butter, pop, sugar, fast foods, just to name a few.

As for my workouts, they are getting easier. It’s a great feeling to feel your body feeling better. My Pilates class is easier for me to do, along with the treadmill. I was able to walk two miles and actually able to sprint for 30 seconds at a time. That’s big for me. I never saw myself walking multiple miles or jogging.

I have two days of swimming as part as my schedule. I swim 20 laps and attend a deep water running class. The water really helps me feel better and it’s just another way to burn calories. Hopefully, next week, I will have some good news to share with you.
