The middle of November is starting and we are down to seven weeks of the FIT Challenge. I am still feeling good about reaching my goals by the end of December.
I have to admit I am doing far better than most would have thought at the beginning of the challenge. It has been uplifting to see the change in myself through the year, including more energy and better health.
I am going for blood work this week and will have the results for my doctor’s appointment Nov. 22. I hope the doctor will reduce more of my medications, which will give me more confidence in the results of the work in the past 10 months. I am still amazed at how many people I talk to about the change in my health, all of which has resulted from the diet and exercise. If I can do this, most other people can do it, too.
This past week has been difficult for working with Derek Nimrichter of Bodi N Balance. We worked out Nov. 9 but were unable to make our schedule work Nov. 10.
On Nov. 13 I missed my workout due to being too tired from helping my daughter and son-in-law remove carpet in their home. We worked from 7:30 p.m. Friday night to about 1 a.m. removing and scraping to prepare for new flooring. I will say I was tired but I never stopped working, which prior to getting in better shape and losing weight would not have been the case.
