This past week was uneventful for me, but I continue to move forward on my quest for better health.
On Sept. 7 and Sept. 9. I worked with Derek Nimrichter of Bodi N Balance. Unfortunately, Derek's and my schedules did not mesh well for the third session, but that will happen. I just have to push myself harder.
I continue to adjust things to help the process, including increased cardio during the week. I can see the challenge ahead of me, but I still feel I will reach my minimum goal of 80 pounds by the end of the year.
The one thing I am going to start is keeping better track of my daily
intake of calories. I have not done this so far, but I can see where this may help me in being successful with these last pounds of weight loss. I realize I must change what I have done and continue to adjust my eating and exercise habits.
I am still enjoying the process of the FIT Challenge and the positive
health gains I have made so far. During the week, as in the previous weeks, I have spoken to various people about the FIT Challenge, including the program and the positive effects it is having on my health.
I hope many people see what changing you eating habits and increasing your exercise will do for your health. I should have started this journey several years ago, but hindsight is always 20/20.
I see myself making better food choices, but there is always the temptation to go back to the old ways of thinking that wavering once won't hurt the process. There must be a constant reminder for me to remember this journey and what I have changed - smaller clothes, less medication, more energy and better sleep are some of the positive gains.
