FIT CHALLENGE: Guerra loses swimsuit top at Soak City

So this month I have to say is the month of barely any workouts.  I think I've maybe had three workouts this month. Conflicting schedules and illness has kept me out of the gym and working out with my trainer, Kevin Gallagher of Anytime Fitness.

But even without the workouts this month, I still continue to lose.  It's so amazing how much just eating a certain combination of food will help you lose weight.

I am happy to report though that I have gotten rid of all of my "fat" clothes that I used to wear. I don't want them anywhere around the house because I don't ever want to see those sizes again.

My swimsuit is the next to go. My husband and I went to Soak City this weekend and the top of my suit kept falling down from being too big! So next on my list is to buy a new swimsuit!

I'm also happy to announce that for the first time in a very very long time, I purchased a woman's shirt.

Yes, it's true. For the past probably 10 to 12 years, I have bought men's shirts because they are bigger and used to fit me better.  Well, that is no more. Everything is going out with the old and in with the new. And if you want to see what the shirt looks like on me, I will be wearing it for the Aug. 10 newspaper article.

I am so happy with myself and the progress that I have made.

July 19 is my seventh year wedding anniversary. My husband and I celebrated it over the weekend and he could really tell that my self-confidence has improved so much just because of this challenge. And because of this I have become a better wife, mother and person — and I'm loving every minute of it.
