FIT CHALLENGE: Guerra about to get birthday gift

So, we are almost to the end of the sixth month and I'm very pleased with the results. 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">June has turned out to be one of my better months, so the outlook for the rest of the year is looking great. yes"> 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">My birthday is at the end of this week and as anyone who follows me knows, my goal was to have lost 50 pounds by then. Well, I'm glad to say I've got about 1 pound to go to achieve that wish.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I finally got a reality check when I looked in the mirror today and I thought, "I see it, I finally see it!"  The "it" being all the weight I lost. I was so happy to finally see what everyone else has been seeing this whole time.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I do want to say, though, that the first five months I wasn't very strict with anything I ate. During those five months, I still ate out for lunch and dinner, probably five out of the seven days in a week.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">And when I ate out, it wasn't healthy food. I had burgers, mashed and baked potatoes with lots of butter and sour cream, french fries, fried chicken, diet Pepsi, Crystal Light, potato chips and cake. I could go on and on about all the crap I ate. 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">How I managed to lose 37 pounds during this time, I have no idea.  That one I think I have to give to my trainer, Kevin Gallagher of Anytime Fitness. I'm thinking it was all his hard workouts that made me lose that. 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">But when I hit that plateau in May, I knew something had to change.  And that change had to be the diet. That's what this month was all about and it's working. I'm as happy as I've ever been.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">Although, my self-esteem is still low. yes">  This past week, I took my kids to soak city.  Well, while my kids and all the other people were in swimsuits, I was the one in the lounge chair with my jeans and T-shirt on. 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I still can't go out in public in a bathing suit or even shorts. I go to my son's baseball games when it's 90 degrees out in black jeans and T-shirt, and all the parents ask me what the heck I'm doing wearing that stuff when it's so hot out. 

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I guess I don't want to hear the little comments from people talking about me being fat. I figure if I cover it up, no one will say anything.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">So now since I've got the workout and eating pretty much down pat, the next step is to just work on me. To be more self-confident. And I have a great feeling that by the end of this year, I will have that self confidence that I need.

 First, bravo, you've got a lot to be proud of.  However, please lose the black jeans, especially in this heat.  Instead, consider a pair of light weight capris or long skirt.  Then throw on a pair of sandals and you're cool, comfortable, and covered, if that's your concern.  

As for people making comments, you'd be surprised, I bet most of them are saying "Wow, look what she did."  And if they aren't, shame on them!
