It was nice last week seeing the pictures from my visit to the quarry with my personal trainer Trevor Tieche of Bodi N Balance.
I hope you noticed I was usually smiling. It was hard work, but it was fun! I’m not dreading running any more. It’s become a part of me. People have been so friendly at Bodi N Balance. They are always positive and motivating me to keep on going. And that helps!
I worked my part-time job this past weekend as a tour guide for seventh-graders from Michigan. They spent Saturday at Cedar Point and then Sunday at Put-In-Bay. It was easy enough to keep the diet under control because all but one of my meals was on my own. The one meal was pizza at Frosty’s and I was able to order a chicken salad.
I’ve been trying to work in more running because next Saturday is the 5K in Bellevue. I have to say I’m looking forward to this event. I want to remind everyone though that I am not running this first 5K to come in first or even near the top. But it will be a great accomplishment for me to have even entered and finished the race. After that I will work on speed.
We’re nearing the end of our six months as FIT Challengers. I’ve hated to see it change from 12 months to 6 months because we are barely getting started. But I am so thankful for this wonderful start. Keep up the good work Derek and Craig!
