Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everybody enjoyed the holiday your family celebrates. We have come to the end of this challenge and boy has it been a long year.

I know some of you may have been wondering what happened to me. I know the second half of this challenge I have been on and off. After June I really didn't lose any weight and my motivation slowly decreased. I allowed some of the things that transpired with my trainer and the challenge itself take me out of it.

Either way I think I still did a good job losing nearly 60 pounds! I still have 40 pounds to go and I am going to do everything possible to lose those 40 by the time the Register checks up with me in June. Some have said this this has been a "Jacob-only Challenge." They said I just gave up and Troy never submitted his blogs. Truth is, all three of us live totally different lives.

I realize we were all given a great opportunity and I think we have all learned alot and will walk away better people.True enough, Jacob will walk away a lot lighter than Troy and me, but that does not mean everything. A year is a longggggg time.

I want to first thank all of the people who followed me. I see alot of people come to my job that support me and all of them understand my journey. They are proud of what I have accomplished and believe in me to finish. At the end of the day those are the people who matter, not ones who compare you to others and how and what they did. I have been overweight for quite some time, and I have never lost 60 pounds, so I would say I am a success story from the FIT Challenge. I wish everyone would look at it as me being a real person and not a marketing tool for NOMS or the Register itself.

I want to thank Brandi Barhite for selecting me to participate. Even though she may feel I didn't give my all, I learned a lot. The results just didn't come within the year. I have learned to keep my weight off and that just as important as losing it. The challenge is ending, not my life.

GREAT JOB to Jacob! I am soooooo proud of you. May this be the beginning of the rest of your life. That would make a great story for you to train me once you finish your schooling. I will say that Bodi N Balance and its contestant seems to always win and I know why. Trevor and the rest of the staff truly care about weight loss and the person they are training. They don't do any of this just to advertise. They have a science and it works! Keep up the job over there. If I can afford it, I will be seeing you soon
