I want to thank Ken Cutcher, my personal trainer at Anytime Fitness, Brandi Barhite and my family for helping me through a year of need.
I am grateful for the big change in my life. Even though I didn't win this contest I still believe 60 pounds is a victory for me.
It was a struggle; I'm not going to lie, but man do I feel good. I'm at a high level of activity now and that's something I was missing before. Its nice to be competitive again even if it's just for recreation.
I've learned a lot from Ken on how to train the whole body without thinking I have to lift the whole gym to get results. I wish I could sit here and ramble on but I'm going to play racquetball now so thanks to everyone who helped me through this humbling period of my life and if you are out of shape and overweight don't be afraid to ask for help!
There are a lot of knowledgeable people out there willing to help. No ones going to knock on your door so you need to find them.
